Not in any way a dis, but Andre Jackson isn’t close to being the best defensive player on the five championship teams. Ricky Moore is. And it’s not close just because I have never seen a defensive player have the defensive season that Moore had that year.

While comparing interior defenders to exterior defenders is comparing apples to oranges, I would also argue that Okafor was a better defender than Jackson.

Ricky was an awesome 1 on 1 defender and more consistent than Jackson defensively but no way were either of them the defensive player Okafor was. Okafor and Anthony Davis are the best college defensive players of the modern era.

Perfectly rational opinion. As I said, comparing perimeter defenders to 5s defensively is really an apples to oranges comparison.

This years team would’ve been one hell of a matchup vs the 2004 team. Sanogo vs Okafor, both teams had pure shooters.

The 99 team was a better version of this years SDSU team, a grown mans team but with much better offense that wouldn’t go into any scoring draughts. Had scorers and rhythm shooters but no pure shooters.

I think this years team is the 3rd best UConn team of all time, 2011 and 2014 teams were magical, we have Kemba or Shabazz and you don’t.
