Nothing too surprising so far. Always nice to see Duke get thrashed, no matter what the sport is.

SE Missouri and Mississippi State are tied in the Top of the 6th currently. If the Redhawks come out on top, that'd be the biggest upset of the tournament at this point.

For anyone interested in watching regional bounce around coverage of the tournament (think NFL Redzone), there is live coverage all weekend on the ESPN goal line/buzzer beater channel. On Cox it's channel 1127 HD, no espn 3 watch ESPN required.

This UCSB/Wash is insane! 1-1 into the 12th. Washington scores on a bases loaded walk in the top of the inning, only to see Santa Barbara hit a homer in the bottom of the inning

Extra innings games are absolute killers in the playoff format. Kills the pitching staff very early on, hopefully their starters went deep.

Yesterday's big wins for UConn, BC, and URI mark the first time since 1973 that 3 New England teams have won a game in the same tournament.

Huge win by URI over USCe.

Nice! That is certainly news worth noting.

I'm surprised this was URI's first win ever in the NCAA tournament. URI always seems to have a competitive team by New England standards.

Now we need to make it 3 for 3 for the American, what a day two game winning home runs to knock off respective 1 seeds in their regionals. If anything the league should garner some respect after today.

Can't believe ecu gets a tried William and Mary team to Advance to super regionals. Goes to show rpi can be huge allowing them to get a weak bracket and uconn got the number 1 overall seed.
