Sue Bird from 1:00 - 1:10. Pragmatic answer as always.

I thought all of them were well spoken. Only one or 2 seemed to have an issue with being referred to as a "female athlete". To most it just seemed to be something identifying their gender - female athlete vs. male athlete.

I have noticed that in the last year or two, some sports listings have changed in the newspaper.

Rather than having NCAA basketball and NCAA women's basketball, they have men's NCAA basketball and women's NCAA basketball. Same with college lacrosse, soccer, and gymnastics (that I can think of).

Semantics make a difference, and a change is happening.
