That Christyn Williams learns the entire UConn playbook.

That Tony C's prediction for the NCAA semis is accurate.

That we get a big hug from Nan as Gal Gadot.

That the Huskies get a signed commitment from anyone Coco chooses.

That Lou's leg and ankle hold up.

That Justin's Guy shares.

That Marina and Arike are offered by the WWF.

That Brenda can find enough junior colleges to play.

That Holly watches Geno's YouTube instructionals.

That we get a replacement for the Hartford gray unis.

That Kim and Vic calm down and stay off the court.

That everyone has a healthy, happy, UConn New Year.

Your wishes?

For the record if I could only choose one, I would choose Paige Bueckers.

Like most sequels, my twelve aren't as good.

That CW puts some of her excess confidence in Molly Bent's stocking.

That Mikayla discovers her outside shooting touch.

That Lou continues to post numbers that make her worthy of being part of the Mount Rushmore of UCONN women's basketball discussion.

That charlieball posts nothing but optimistic thoughts for 24 hours.

That posters like bags27 and Ucmiami return to posting as much as they used to.

That Batouly can return to and maintain a healthy form.

That Eric, Megan and Justine broadcast all games, no matter the network.

That Geno slips and tells us what he really thinks of Arike and Muffet.

That Phee would get a T just for the mere shock of it all.

That the AAC schedule offers some challenges.

That Tennessee plays a game that is actually watchable. Tennessee and Texas was not.

That Kyla can maintain her minutes even after MW's return.

Don't be so modest; these are excellent, and I share every one. You also did it all w/out making snide remarks about others, a skill I haven't learned.

Can you add Karen Aston?
If I remember correctly, she spends as much time on the court as her players do...

Don't understand the Nan thing, and don't care if Justin's Guy shares. If you meant Justine's Guy you would probably get more takers on this Board! Good with all the rest! ;):D

As for the Nan thing, she uses different avatars as the mood strikes--and one of those was Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman). The other imponderable was, as you point out, the omission of an "e." But you get the idea . . . Roll Tide!

Funny you should mention this because today I made my annual contribution to the World Wildlife Fund! In my wish list, I'm referencing the World Wrestling Federation (to which I do not contribute in any form). Oh, and definitely add Karen . . .

I am not creative enough to come up with a thread like this. As far as the positive slant, I am paranoid enough to believe that Nan is looking over my shoulder whenever I post. I can be as sarcastic as judgmental as the next person. It just doesn't fly here.

It's probably a good thing to have some correctives in our lives. You can see what it's like at sites that are both anonymous and unmonitored (which may be most sites). Folks take anonymity to be license to say whatever they're thinking regardless of the impact it has. Here I try to be conscious of what I'm writing because I know someone is holding me to a reasonable standard of what is and is not ok. Frankly, I benefit from this oversight, although sometimes I cross a line or two. In a sense, all of living is balancing our different sides, and moderating our worst impulses is not a bad thing. We can't always be Peter Pan. Darn it.

My wife and I just rescued a puppy from Mississippi after 2 of our 3 goldens passed away. We also have 2 rescued cats. My contribution.

Oh, so you really mean the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) because the World Wildlife Fund sued to have exclusive rights to WWF. :)
