The Huskies have had some truly memorable moments in the past 30 plus years. Given the opponent and the importance of the game, “THE RUN” will rank with the all-time best moments in Huskies lore.

Down 53-44 to an outstanding defensive team, Baylor, things were not looking good for a 13th Final Four appearance in a row. Then with a little time left in the third quarter, and lead by Paige Bueckers, the Huskies went on a 19-0 run that carried into the 4th quarter.

The Huskies have had long runs in the past but none more important than that 19 – 0 run. Paige hit a shot with about 1:30 on the clock in the 3rd quarter and that carried over to the 4th quarter for a 19-0 run and a spot in the Final Four.

If the Huskies win the National Championship, it will be because of “THE RUN” and A SMALL CHILD SHALL LEAD THEM – Paige Bueckers.

Contrary to Baylor's complaints, the refs didn't swallow their whistles at the end, they let many fouls on both sides go uncalled all during the game especially those in the paint. They called a loose game all evening.
