Monday 11/4

Ole Miss and USC is the most interesting of the three imo. With the worst time slot of course.

We're getting close:

Noon: Ole Miss vs Southern Cal ESPN
2:30: UCLA vs Louisville ESPN2
7:30: South Carolina vs Michigan TNT

And everyone's favorite teams to boot.
This is fantastic! Our college is on Fall Break Monday!

Why are so many games being played in the midde of the day, especially in the ACC? I can only guess it's to not conflict with men's hoops games that same day which will be played in the evening.

I'm most intrigued by South Carolina/Michigan. If SC comes out like gang busters similar to their Paris game last year, it could signify they've simply reloaded and are a level above the rest of the competition again this year. Michigan has some very good freshmen and is well coached, so if they're able to stay remotely close to SC, it'll be a good sign for them.

I see Ole Miss/Southern Cal as the most competitive. Ole Miss is a tough defensive team and USC is loaded with star power, but will the chemistry be there? If Ole Miss keeps it close, I think they can pull off an upset.

I'm all for competitive games. Unfortunately, I think both of these games will be routs and out of hand by half-time.

UCLA versus Louisville is the game which I think will be most competitive on Monday.

Well the USC-Ole Miss and UCLA-Louisville tip off in Paris, France, explaining the tip times in the U.S. Can’t explain the ACC games starting as early as 10:30AM EST. Your guess on conflicts with MBB games seems reasonable.

Five ACC teams hosting games starting around 11 AM Eastern time on a Monday is crazy; guess they don't care about fan attendance.

Even Utah hosting their game at 11 AM Mountain time is a head-scratcher.

For viewers in Los Angeles, that's a 9:00 am tip off:

C'mon ESPN. You can do better than that. The Paris location, of course, affects scheduling. Still . . .

Another game that is interesting is Green Bay at Kansas State, though certainly on on Monday morning's B-side.

Longtime Green Bay coach Borseth retired in the offseason. He was an old-school hardass, a type of coach that is fading away. They stole South Dakota's coach, and return their top 5 minute-getters from last season when they finished 2nd in the Horizon. They blew out Cleveland St. in the conference tournament to make NCAAs, where they got pummeled by the Lady Vols.

Something I didn’t realize till looking up some of Monday’s games: There are tons of games on SEC+ and ACCNextra — these are not pay apps like ESPN+, so if your package has SECN or ACCN, you can stream any of those games.

Louisville I'm not sure what to think, its the first game of the season all bets are off although if UCLA somewhat plays to their capability I think they win that game pretty handily....

Duke’s game is a game they invite local elementary schools. So it’s a game full of screaming kids! Lol. Doesn’t require a ticket. Game is open to anyone.

Duke's game is their education game. Kids from local schools will be the bulk of the audience. No tickets required for others. I assume other ACC schools with morning games are doing the same thing.

Now that is how you grow the game!! Well done, Coach Lawson and Duke administration. Hopefully the University of Minnesota does the same thing this season.

Quite a few schools do this from what I've noticed at different points of the non-conference season. Would be surprised if Minnesota doesn't have such a day.

Yeah, Texas has been doing it for at least 10 years. It's typically in December for Texas; never on opening day of the season.

Tameiya Sadler transferred to Ole Miss? Washington>Colorado>Ole Miss. Well traveled by this point.

She looked like a star in the making as Fr. at UW but didn't develop at all in 3 years at CU.

Ole Miss survives a horrible shooting first quarter. Trails by 2 into the 2nd.

Juju gets Teed up mid 2nd quarter. Explodes after that to put U$C up 11. Freshman Kennedy Smith is as good as advertised

7 point lead at the end of 3. Low shooting percentages.

No game threads. Quarter update only.
