Agreed, though that loss to a very bad Providence team on Friday was disastrous.

Overall, the body of work is good. Sometimes #2 happens. Maybe they were looking ahead to UMass.

probably down to a 3 seed in the NCAAT and pretty much have to win the BE tourney title now
on the plus side St Joes, OhioSt, Michigan, BC all lost too

Yeah, it looked like to me that the decline in UConn field hockey over the last few years was due in part to the decline in international recruits due to the pandemic. Guess things on this front have changed for UConn field hockey.

And Sophie Hamilton left to play pro overseas. Having her a couple more years would have definitely made a difference.
