In 1 mock draft Seattle takes Amanda Zahui B AT #1 instead of Lloyd. If they really want her they could send the #1 and something else (a future pick or a player) to Chicago for the #5 pick and Courtney Vandersloot. Both teams get there hometown girls and increased attendance. Seattle gets Courtney to work with Sue Bird for a couple of years, and Chicago gets a point guard and 2 guard instead of having 2 point guards. It also seems Tulsa has a lot of size up front, so if Chicago gets Lloyd at #1 and KML goes 2 to Tulsa, Seattle still gets the kid from Minnesota at 3 and maybe someone like Elizabeth Williams at #5. They add the size they need. If Tulsa were to go big poor Seattle would get stuck (sarcasm) with KML, but still get a big at #5. I know Seattle has Montgomery, but I believe Courtney is better and she's from the area and in CT we know that winning games and Uconn girls bring in the fans. Renee could stay and work in tandem with Courtney when Sue retires in a few years or be moved for another rebuilding piece. Win win.

If I'm Seattle take Loyd with an understanding that she will be traded to Tulsa for Odyssey Sims and reunited with Skylar. Great Marketing for Tulsa and they still get Amanda Zahui with 2nd Pick. Seattle gets a dynamic PG as Sue Bird's eventual replacement. IMHO Sims has more upside then Loyd. Now if Seattle has Amanda as the best player in the draft with the most upside, then take Amanda with 1st pick. I'm not sold as Amanda as a future All Star. She has more offensive skills then Kiah, but I like Kiah as a better defensive player and would take the chance I can develop her offense skills.

If I'm Lloyd I want to go home to Chicago and on a contender. Marketing her in Chicago would be a big boost for the WNBA. If Sims is better Tulsa should not give her up for Marketing purposes. First Sims is from neighboring Texas and winning is the best kind of marketing. I thought of this move more from Chicago's view point and how Vandersloot and Lloyd both end up at home. I see Kiah as a defensive specialist and any offense is a bonus, and that is OK.

I'd like to see Jewell in Chi-Town but don't see how that could happen.

Asuwish , I am thinking that Seattle could take Zahui B. no.1 and trade 3rd pick for pg...Or take best guard available with pick (possibly Loyd). I really can't see Tulsa taking Loyd at #2 with Sims and Diggins already on the roster. AND Seattle could take Stokes leading off second round. What a frontline they would have.

Chicago sends Vandersloot (she went to Gonzaga) & pick #5 to Seattle for the number 1 pick. Courtney is one of the best young pg's out there. Even if Chicago has to add a 2nd rd pick or another player they are very deep and young. Since Seattle has pick 3 as well and Tulsa doesn't really need a big so Seattle can still get Zahui 2 picks later or a big at pick 5. Seattle has Sue Bird (a couple more years) and Montgomery. It's the idea of bringing Vandersloot back home, not just any pg. The WNBA benefits with both players playing in their home areas.

Maybe Jay Z already has this all worked out, and that's why Loyd went now.

She may know a deal to land her Chicago was in the works. Going right onto a title contender with Stewie no where in sight (for a year).

I think Seattle would be nuts to make this trade. Number 5 pick isn't an all-star. Vanndersloot is good but not great. So potentially you are trading to get one good player and one pretty good palyer while losing a probable perennial multi-year all-star? No way I'd touch that unless Seattle thinks Loyd and everyone else 1-5 is about the same.
