Why Notre Dame is so interested in Big12

Big 12 = Not shared profit

Also I could see Notre Dame staying independent in football but switching its other sports to Big 12. Notre Dame keeps all profits it does not share. It's not a bad thing it's just how it is and IMO will continue to be regardless of realignment.
