Now that all regional rivals, cultural fits, academics, geography etc. are out the window why do conferences make any sense anymore?
It's all about money and brand. Why are we even continuing with this charade of conferences when half the brands suck in these few "power" conferences that are left and there are "power" brands which are still out there in non "power" conferences?
