was one of the worst in recent memory. Bad shot selection, turnovers, easy layups for Pitt, no rebounding. Need to wake up in the 2nd half.

The last two halves of UConn basketball remind me of the 06-07' season.

If I was KO, I'd run box out drills non stop until the next game. I don't think I've ever seen a UConn team compete so poorly on the boards.
I don't envy anyone in that locker room right now!
BTW, it looked like KO was finally chewing on the refs at the end of the half. Good.

Boatright needs to look to pass first, instead of creating for himself. He's ruining offensive sets with him, Napier, and Calhoun dribbling into the corner.

Second half against Louisville was the most shaming thing I have ever seen. They were alley-oopin and throwing down breakaway dunks for 20 minutes straight.

Lucky we are down 23.

Our weaknesses are glaring today.

We couldn't figure out and attack the zone.

I don't understand why Daniels is so horrible defensively.

Agreed, but Louisville is a heck of a lot better team than Pitt. Pitt is no more talented than we are (well, maybe a little) but is playing hard, we're playing like it'e CYO basketball. Hell, if I had a CYO team playing as soft as we just played, I'd sit em all down and play the bench.

he does need to work the refs more overall, but they're calling a pretty good game for us today. They're not letting Pitt maul our guards.

can't complain about the refs today, just our effort

Pitt has some size and UConn is vulnerable to size. Plus Adams is getting better every game. I'd expect them to have a significant rebounding advantage. Why UConn isn't using their speed and passing to set up better shots is a different question. That half was just poor.
