They will be underdogs against ND and NC. , so a 6-6 season (or worse!) is within range.

I can't recall what prognostication site I was on last night, but they had put the Pitt/ND final score at 57-3. I thought, "Pitt stinks this year, but that's a ridiculous prediction."

ND is now up 51-0 with 9 minutes left.

My wife, the Pitt grad, said: "At least watching UConn play is entertaining."

Leopold is from Wisconsin and has coached in the Midwest his whole career. Would seem a great fit for a BiG team like Iowa or Mich St.

USC good God. Lincoln and Jimbo are the two most overpaid coaches in college football. Kyle Whittingham - despite Utah's loss today - probably the most underpaid IMO. Him and the dude that coaches Kansas.

Miami is starting to show some b***s under Cristobal. Tough to shake off two decades of malaise but I think 'ol Mario is doing it. Now as long he just learns how to tell his QB to kneel in the final minute.....

Dunno if anybody is watching Tennessee but they are very, very fast. Given how often we look like we’re playing in cement I’m worried about just how ugly next week gets.

I'm astonished at how bad the USC defense is. Jimbo is just cashing a check at this point. As for Cristobol? He recruits and preaches toughness, and that is all really good, but he is one of the most conservative coaches I have ever seen.

Anybody think Cal's decision to go for 2 was really dumb? I guess it looks like a good gamble if you make it, but they didn't. Should've been playing in OT instead of losing by 1.

Washington is flirting with a loss, gonna happen sooner than later. They haven't looked sharp in a while now.

Oregon St. takes a tough loss at Arizona. Cats aren't chopped liver this year. I wasn't impressed w/ DJ. Started 5-6, finished 16-30. A bunch of incompletions and he had plenty of time to throw.

Oh yeah, speaking of dumb, Oregon St. tried a fake FG just before halftime w/ the kicker running it. He picked up some yards, but he didn't get it in the end zone and the clock ran out. They lost by 3. Should've taken the points. I feel like a lot of coaches are turning their noses up at FG these days, and sometimes that ends up being the difference in a game.

Nah. USC s defense is awful. Not unreasonable to bet on your offense.

VT has a terrific defense. Schrader was running for his life the whole game.
