Rice has already scored 21 points against Tulsa in the first half tonight.

A convincing win by Rice tonight hopefully helps to put more weight to UConn's win against them (their first score was an "easy" rushing TD. Was watching JMU vs. Marshall as well...won't be an easy game for UConn, but their performance tonight so far gives some glimmer of hope for our boys.

JMU just snuffed Marshall tonight at Marshall.

Watched it...hope the kid that they carted off on a back board is OK...

Marshall was playing with a handicap...

Marshall didn’t have seven starters with the top missing name Rasheen Ali, the team’s leading rusher (641 yards, 12 touchdowns). Ali’s battling an ankle injury. Quarterback Cam Fancher had issues with his left leg, but hung in there.

“Cam’s mobility is limited,” Huff said. “That changes things. He can’t move. The pass rush is tough on him. They had some short fields. The defense battled. I told the defense welcome back. That’s what we’re used to seeing. Special teams showed up. Not enough though to beat a good football team.”

Rice offense looked legit and defense wasn't bad. Was very nice effort to beat them with such a bad start. Told my wife at beginning of season if UConn is 8-0 we're going to Tennessee, just changed to going if 3-5.

Watching SMU-Temple. With SMU up 21-0, Temple had first and goal on the 2 and turned the ball over on downs with a bad sack on 4th down. There are worse teams than UConn.

Just turned on the tv and yeah, it's bad down in Philly. SMU up on Temple 31-0 and stadium is absolutely empty. Temple must love the AAC.

End of the third with SMU leading 41-0, and Temple managed just 126 yards. I regard Temple same as UMass, northeast football deserves better, even Syra...err, nah, I'm not there yet.

Temple lost 55-0....but, in perspective, they lost 45-14 last week to North Texas.

EJ Warner has missed their two last games because of an injury. The backup quarterback is big and a pretty good runner but is a big drop off as a passer.

Rhett Lashlee should have a lot of success at SMU. He runs a high scoring downfield passing offense which will attract plenty of quarterbacks and wide receivers. I would speculate there is plenty of NIL money to support the program. It will be interesting to see what SMU does in the ACC in terms of football.

Liberty escapes again against MTSU 42-35. Worst 7-0 team ever.

Southern Miss has really fallen off, pounded 55-3 by USA.

BC is playing pretty well against Georgia Tech. BC QB Thomas Castellanos may be a challenge for UConn.

Ohio St and Penn St all defense
PSU's pass defense not looking all that good right now, although they'll keep OSU out of the endzone. Marvin Jr. is really good.

Pretty dumb move by Franklin to go for it on 4th and 3 in their own territory.

Harrison Jr. is most likely a top 5 overall draft pick. He is the best player on field right now. Keeping him out of the end zone is a huge accomplishment on PSU

Utah was up on USC 28-14, but Trojans came back to take a 32-31 lead. Utah has a shot at a game winning FG w/ 5 seconds left, ball at the 19.
