Such a craptastic northeast football game. There’s is no reason we can’t be better then
BC and Cuse.

BC is good but the participation trophy against FSU in chestnut hill has given people delusions of grandeur, they squeaked by Army and Holy Cross. Their a kind of like a better version of last years Uconn team, getting the breaks going their way.

This. BC is winning a ton of 1 score games. Their entire OL is intact which is huge. Their QB remains upright, also huge and in the last 5 games their +/- on takeaways is +. Almost everything Uconn had last year.

This is something. To think they have 40-50 million more than we do to fund sports with every year and this is the attitude around their football program. Maybe, football in the northeast really is dead beyond Penn St.

I don’t know where any of UConn, BC or Cuse is going to get a lot of football NIL money. BC probably has enough wealthy alumni to support it, but I don’t sense those alumni really care enough. The lack of passionate and uber wealthy football fans in the region is a problem. In UConn’s case, it’s almost impossible to find a sugar daddy or two when the football team can’t even win enough to show some potential. Maybe, if we could go 7-5 a couple times the school could make an appeal to the public to help push the program over the hump.

Maybe, football in the northeast really is dead beyond Penn St.

Don’t forget Rutgers with Schiano. He makes it happen regardless of conference affiliation. It irks me to no end that we can’t recapture some of our old magic.

Wow, Utah appears to be really pissed off after getting whupped by Oregon last week. They are just destroying Arizona St., who has been more competitive than their record would suggest for much of conference play.

It's been noted that Clemson has fallen very much out of the elite in football (today's win notwithstanding). Not sure when exactly that started, was it just last year or previous to that? Well over in FCS, former absolute dominant powerhouse North Dakota St. took their 3rd loss of the season today. They used to take 3 or 4 years to lose 3 games. Looks like they've been supplanted by their conference rivals South Dakota St.

This started as expected. Both Ds looked completely helpless. Both were sustained drives, but I would expect to see some quick hitters as the game progresses. Whatever the over/under is...take the over!
