Its like the season has started all over again. We leave the bases loaded. Then 2 outs no one on, HBP and 2 run homer and now were tied.

Top 6th, with runners at the corners and no out, Stock comes up with a sac fly to make it 4-3 UConn. Pitching change after Chris Winkel reaches on an error to put 2 runners on with 1 out. UConn loads up the bases again with a Langer walk with one out.

Kyler Fedko comes up with a 2 run 2 out single to make it 6-3 UConn.

Bottom 6th, Kenny Haus in to pitch for UConn. Haus strikes out the side for a shutdown inning.

McBride is warming in the pen for UConn. With a 5 run lead, might be a good opportunity to give the promising freshman some work. Still, it's a bit hard to take Haus out with the roll he is on.

UConn with a scoreless inning in the top of the 9th. Haus back on the mound. Gives up a lead off single to end the strikeout streak, followed by a two run homer to make it 8-5. Wurster warming up, and he is coming in.

Wurster hits the first batter, then comes up with a double play ball. Fly out ends the game. Wurster with the save, UConn the 8-5 win!! Wurster threw 4 pitches, so we should be able see him again this series.

Good win and it was really nice to see the boys back in action. After shaking out the cobwebs in game 1, they seem to have settled back in and picked right back up where they left off. Looking forward to the rest of this series!
