Crooked number!
I would agree! Huskies never slumber for too long…it’s the breed, ya know.I would suggest that the UConn offense has awakened from last night.
Top 3rd, a 1 out Morton triple brings in 2 runs (Studley and Smith who had both singled), 2-1 UConn. Freeberger with a sac fly, 3-1 UConn.
Strange that we are away team for all games this weekend. Will they at least count that way for our RPI? Otherwise I wonder how they determined that.
Top 5th, Studley with a one out triple. Smith with an RBI ground out, 4-2 UConn. Freeberger with a 2 run homer (first hit as a Husky) after Morton reaches base on an error. 6-2 UConn.
Go Sully!
Penders preaches toughness and not giving in. So far he has to be very pleased with Sully. A no out error and he just continued to grind..
Go Sully!
Bottom 6th, with 1 out and a runner at 1B who reached on a no out infield single, Brady Afthim comes in to relieve Sullivan.
Afthim walks the next 2 batters to load the bases. A double play ends the inning with no runs coming in. 6-2 UConn.
