I doubt any team in college baseball has our depth at catcher. Any of them would be welcomed with open arms at catcher-starved Florida right now.

I recall that in the early interviews the coaches said that Phillips did not do well in the preseason. He's hitting now, that's for sure.

It's common to take a young relatively untested pitcher out quickly with the taste of success in his mouth. Longer stints are coming for Wurster, you can be sure of it if he continues to produce.

Wang looked a little shaky there, but will happily take only 1 run in 2 1/3 innings so far from our pen.

As you guys have probably noticed, one thing I love to follow is how pitchers develop over the course of a season or even over their careers. Wurster and Wang certainly two guys to keep track of.
