They did it after watching him today. They watched him in the first game they were watching Oubre.

were they actively recruiting him before this? seems like it would be a lil bit too late in the game considering he's already got high majors after him​

Amazing how many good players and great athletes there are out there............he has some special athletic ability for sure, needs strength as so many do but once again great length!

By the looks of it he's very similar to Hamilton. Is Ollie looking by need or just going after "best players available"?

Larrier, Oubre and Hamilton are all very similar I agree. If they get Oubre or Larrier to go along with DHam they can certainly share the court at the same time despite similar games. JC liked having lots of "athletes" on the floor at the same time despite being blessed with good size too most years!

He's also 6'8" 205lbs so he could easily run the 4 spot. Put a few more lbs on him and it's great. Athletic, jumper, has ball handling skills. Could easily have MacLaughlin/Perkins (hopefully either) Purvis, Hamilton, Larrier and then either Chukwu, Brimah or hopefully Turner or Okanoboh.

Goes to school in Pa., but is a NYC kid, Bronx. Let's keep the NYC connection to UCONN going!!
