So according to Muffet and the Irish staff, in a battle between two evenly matched teams who know each other very well going into their 8th game in two years, the answer to who wins simply comes down to that cliched sports truism of whoever wants it more (shades of the Who: I wannnnnnit, I wannnnnit.) and puts out the most effort will win. The reason that the Irish lost in the BET was supposedly:
"They out-hustled us."
And after the loss....
"You get a little hungrier” (They have had multiple screenings recently of The Hunger Games, apparently).
So simply put, the Huskies play like they have been playing since the last loss, leave some skin on the floor, stay calm when things get chippy, hold ND to under 27 in the 1st half, and they win.
