UConn women's hoops are showing up everywhere -- a recent post detailed a mention on NCIS Los Angeles. It is always as a way to illustrate excellence. The following is from Golden Prey, best-selling author John Sandford's lastest novel. The characters are three U.S Marshals.
Bob said to Lucas, "She travels with a basketball. She won't let me deflate it. It's the world's biggest pain in the ass."
Lucas looked at Rae for a minute. "Where'd you play?"
"UConn," Rae said.
"Starter?"
"Last two years, anyway," Rae said. "You play?"

They go on to have two highly competitive games of one on one.

Recent episode of NCIS, also, gather a big plug to Martin Luther, Lutherans, and the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. At least four references within the episode.
