I'd be shocked if there wasn't some sort of a ceremony/event at the Rent. Great way to try to connect the school and the fanbase. MBB, WBB, FB, soccer, baseball, swimming, track, hockey, etc...all the same. We're all Huskies!

I like the idea, the one problem would be 60,000 people showing up at the Rent which would create a fiasco. I understand that probably wouldn't happen (not even close), but just the fear of that might stop the idea dead in its tracks.

There are plenty of men's and women BB fans that have not been to a FB game at the Rent. Short parade ending at the Rent would bring fans for autographs and pictures.

Disappointing that there is no word of this. HCBD has to be pushing for it. Having them at the game (which I believe they will be) will help. But then again, if people see them at the spring game it takes away attendance for the parade.

Here's hoping they get it right.

You can't have a parade there, last time 300,000 showed up. They just wouldn't fit on campus, that's why it happens in Hartford.

End the parade or have a post parade event at the spring game where you can accommodate 40,000 people. It makes sense.

I can see an appearance by the team at the game, but not the parade. The team deserves to celebrate without the parade being made into FB promo.
