Not 100% but I think by the end of this week we'll have a much better picture, with the exception of waiting on Karaban. Transfer portal closes Wednesday and I also think Mahaney and Brea will both make decisions by the end of the week. However, if they both go elsewhere, we certainly may get involved with another guy or two next week.
Probable answer is it's just Hurley's way of continuing to vent about what a fustercluck the Portal is in general. Or maybe Mahaney and/or Brea dangled their UK visits in an attempt to dial up theiir NIL offers, which would have been an extremely poor decision on their part. I’m no insider so I’m going with option 1.
