There can only be 1. UConn all the way. Is every one as cocky as I am for this years team? What a change for last year.

What's going on Nov 5?

Duke's exhibition game. Ive seen them play against each other, now I want to see them face an actual opponent.

Very much feel the same way about this year's Irish.
On one (negative) hand:
- Lindsay Allen graduated after seemingly being there for 40 years;
- Erin Boley and Allie Patberg transferred;
- Bri Turner and Mychal Johnson out for the year with injuries;
- Kat Turner still out while suffering residual pain after ankle surgery; and,
- Jessica Shepard in eligibility purgatory.
On the positive:
- Lili Thompson joining the backcourt;
- Frosh Mik Vaughn allegedly showing a lot of stuff in practice (but I want to see it against other teams);
- Jackie Young getting a lot of time and opportunity; and,
- Arike Ogunbowale and Marina Mabrey, always ready and able to score.

With Johnson out and Patberg really out, (a) Mabrey will once again be required to be the back-up PG, so she'll probably be on the floor all game.

We've got one exhibition game on Nov. 1st, then start against Mt. St. Mary's on Nov. 11th. Will vote with my eyes after that...:rolleyes:

My, my, how quickly we forget. There can always be a Miss St waiting in the wings.
I don't think anyone's forgotten but this isn't the same roster that lost to MS last year. Can this year's team lose? Of course. But I wouldn't bet on it!
