Interesting question hoophuskee - definitely spectacular plays get airtime across the country and a dunk in the women's game is still 'spectacular'. This block is also generating buzz - but I think there is already a ton of buzz about Stewart and ESPN announcers have been doing there bit - in the past few weeks I don't know how many times they have used the 'best player in the country' descriptor when referring to her but it has been a staple of pretty much every game caster and desk analyst.

I loved the look on Laney's face after the block when she crashed into the basket support......"uhhh where in the hell did she come from?" Lol !

So many things I liked. Would love to know what the ref thought while at full speed getting passed by Breanna. Then the absolute hustle of Kiah and Saniya to be there to try for the loose ball.

7 TO GO

The run and the swat were both impressive, but let me add that the reaction and court awareness deserve mention. Stewie starts down court and takes two steps BEFORE the Rutgers player touches the ball. That's good reaction time.

It looks like Scaife (apologies to her if I am incorrect) stopped running on the play just as Stewart accelerated by her.

I am referring to the player running behind Laney trailing the play who appears to have let up just as Stewart accelerates past her.

I think it is interesting that MoJet's "fumble" (which doesn't happen very often at all), turned into one of the greatest defensive plays of the year. A rare set of events indeed.

Maya's memorable swat at about the 1:20 mark (after some Maya 3-pointers):
