Hopefully turner chooses Texas so they will be real competitive. They were already decent this year, Ridley and turner in the front line would be downright scary

"The Huskies are losing forward DeAndre Daniels, the former Texas target, and longtime lead guard Shabazz Napier, who has finally exhausted his eligibility."

"Unfortunately, the Stanford game is by far the highlight of the non-conference schedule"

Even the people that supposedly care about Texas basketball are completely clueless...

What a weird team, if he thinks they'll be more excited to play Stanford at home than at UConn.

Good, Texas should will be very good, of course Rick Barnes can always mess it up in March he couldn't even make the sweet 16 without Durant, Augustine was on that team too. In November though they should be a great team.

The last time around Texas wanted to schedule a home and home with the FB program to piggy back the Bball series. Huge mistake by Edsall not to take advantage of that. He didn't think we were ready to play Texas which may have been true at the time but we did the same with Mich and we held our own. I think we should continue to use our Bball street cred to schedule desirable opponents down the road. It can only help recruiting and ticket sales as I see it.

It was a one and done football game, not a home & home.

They may be saying the Stanford game is the highlight of their home non-conference schedule. That's the only explanation to that absurdly stupid statement.
