The 2014 NCAA national champion University of Connecticut women's basketball team and its travel party will leave Nashville via charter flight at 12:45 p.m. EDT (11:45 a.m. Nashville time) on Wednesday, April 9, 2014. The team is expected to return to Bradley International Airport at approximately 3:00 p.m. EDT. There will be no public event at the airport. The team will then return to campus for a National Champions "Victory Lap" through campus beginning at approximately 4:00 p.m. The team will ride in an open-air double decker bus and will be accompanied by the UConn pep band and cheerleaders. Upon conclusion of the "Victory Lap" there will be a brief speaking program at the Fairfield Way Plaza - in between the Student Union and the School of Business.
