This Vandersloot character is pretty good.

Too bad she's Hungarian

That is too bad. I've been a fan since her college days. She don't need no stinkin' EDD or Big Syl.

Terrible loss by LA (not that I mind at all). Chicago is the 2nd worst team in the W - ahead of San Antonio, but last in the East...

I saw somewhere else the Sky have won 4 of their last 5. Appear to be putting it together. Nobody is running away with the East, there is time for them to work their way up the standings.

What"s really awesome is Stef never shoots a three from the corner and she made it. Most of her three point shots are from the top of the key.
Plus she was on the move!

Chicago is now tied with Indiana, and about to pass them. Chicago has begun playing good basketball and could pass inconsistent Seattle and Atlanta. They are now only 1.5 games out of a playoff spot.

Seattle has a big problem. They are only 7-6 at home and 2-5 on the road. They have played 13 home games and 7 away. That means that they have 14 games left, only 4 of which are at home and 10 on the road. They are currently 9th in the 8-team playoff race (same record as Atlanta but lose the tiebreaker). They likely need to get to 15-16 wins, which means 6-7 more than currently. They almost absolutely need to sweep at home. They may need for Atlanta or Dallas to falter, and they certainly need Chicago to cool off.

The interesting thing about the end of yesterday's game was that it paralleled game 5 of the championship series last year. Nneka had a chippie from the left side that was blocked (by Sylvia last year, by Imani yesterday). She then recovered the ball and put up another shot. Last year, she made it. Yesterday, she left it short. If yesterday's ending has occurred last September, Minnesota would be the reigning champions.

It works for the many here who'd like Jefferson to be the heir apparent to Bird at PG. :p

It also works for all of my conspiracy theories, lol.
