Through 2 episodes, and this show has potential. I loved the book. Gatesh Gaitonde is one of my favorite mobster characters ever. The dubbing is a little distracting.
Reviews are not great, but they are are not a good indicator unless the reviewer has watched the whole season. McMafia and Succession both started out rough, but got a lot better as the season wore on. TV is not like the old days, where the producers would blow their wad with their best episode in the pilot. With TV today, it is better to think of the first episode as the opening scene of a play. In theatre, the opening scene is almost a throwaway while the audience is still getting to their seats.
