So far, the 2013 BET (no UConn), and a nostalgia trip for Providence in the 70's. Let's see how much airtime we get. My guess, maybe 60 seconds out of the 45 minute running time.

This has been talked about at length but yeah, no chance I am watching this nonsense. It was painful hearing Doris Burke talk about this movie during the Cinci game, saying how there is sure to be a lot of Jim Calhoun in the documentary, when the reports are that UCONN is barely even shown.

It's about the formation and early years of the conference, not about its entire history. It's going to disappoint everyone besides Cuse & GTown fans.

Anyone find it odd that the network whose hands were at most involved with the collapse of the Big East is airing a segment about its demise? Sickening. F those bas s.

My sentiments exactly. They always act like innocent bystanders of the whole thing, like someone driving by a car accident and saying "oh, that's terrible, what a shame", when all along they had a major hand at the collapse of the very conference they are reporting on.

They can kindly take their fake outrage and go suck it.

I'm DVRing it. I'll wait to hear some reviews before I decide to watch it or not. It's still too painful to even think about not only what happened to the Big East, but also the current position of UConn in the AAC.

How much do we have to hear about Patrick Ewing? Was he the force behind conference realignment?

Will they even say Jim Calhoun, or bring up the fact that a 9th place team in the BE won it all , or the 5 games in 5 days, pathetic.

Can we get past 1985 already. An hour 15 in. They have nothing to talk about for cuse and g town for another 20 years so other than AI.

Uconn carried the conference for 20 years and will get five min. What else is new but us getting screwed these days

Those 5 minutes will be the happiest moment of my week until we tip vs. the Hawks.

Here comes the spin job where the Big East becomes too greedy for its own good.

What a joke.

What I've learned: Syracuse, Georgetown and in some years St. John's and Villanova had basketball teams and played games against each other, and the Big East was greedy and created a football league (one that ESPN televised no less).

The best team in conference history didn't actually field a team, except in 1986 when they were really bad.

Edit: and Syracuse won a college basketball championship in 2003.

"When BC leaves New England to go to the ACC, you know it's strictly a monetary decision."
