New article from Maryland's 247 on Stone. Here are some highlights:

UConn, whom many perceive as the favorite for Stone, got the five-star prospect's fourth and final visit last weekend. It was the second time he'd been to Storrs, having visit over the summer unofficially.

"It was just good to see it with all the people there. We got to see the school and the people interacting," Bob Stone said.

--------------------------------
The elder Stone admitted there's been pressure locally to attend Wisconsin, but said it won't affect their decision.

"Yeah, but we've got people in Wisconsin from Oklahoma, people who are alums from Maryland, and all of the schools ... People from everywhere have been writing to him. With the social media, the world is a lot smaller," he said.

--------------------------------
And finally, there's the rumored decision date; multiple reports have stated Stone will announce his decision on Nov. 12.

"No, no," Bob Stone said. "There's no set date."

Mack and his mother Paula visited with the USC coaches on Saturday for about an hour after practice. Over the weekend, she said she heard in one form or another from all of the other coaches in contention -- Brad Brownell of Clemson, Shaka Smart of VCU, Mark Fox of Georgia and Kevin Ollie of Connecticut. Georgia was the first of the schools to send a letter-of-intent to the Macks.

Paula Mack said she and her son were discussing the decision on Sunday when they were interrupted. She had to head to work and her son had practice, so she doesn't expect the two of them to reconvene until Monday night. She said her son does plan to make his announcement sometime Tuesday and will sign during a ceremony at Dreher at noon on Wednesday.

"We are getting close to a decision, we're getting close to it," Mack said. "It all boils down to where he feels comfortable. All five, we like them all."

I have no further insight on Mack - I think I'd be majorly surprised if he chose UConn, though.

On Briscoe, though, it's just not happening.

We just do not do well in New Jersey - it's almost uncanny. (It's a shame - he'd be terrific here.)
