1) Cincinnati - win over Fordham doesn't matter, but looking at the overall resume is pretty good.

2) Boise - Nice win over Fresno, especially on defense, but the offense is no where near where it needs to be.

3) Louisville - this team will be upset this year in Big East play. They let inferior teams hang around.

4) Rutgers - should have beaten Syracuse more easily than they did.

5) UCF - almost had a terrible loss to Southern Miss. This is a really good team that keeps giving away opportunities. Should have beat Missouri and should have at least been closer against Ohio State.

6) Temple - played very hard to keep UConn to 2 TD's despite UConn moving the ball fairly easily all day, then pulled it out in the end. Just hung around and got some breaks. That is what winning teams do.

7) San Diego State - blowing out the bad teams and playing the better teams competitively. On the other hand, losing to SJSU at home is not a moral victory. Big game at Nevada next week.

8) Houston - doing what it is supposed to against the weak part of its schedule.

9) USF - USF has to turn its season around starting next week, or things could get ugly.

10) Navy - respectable back to back wins. Central Michigan is only a couple of weeks away from a road win over Iowa, but got lit up at home by Navy.

11) UConn - performance on field speaks for itself.

12) SMU - They lost to Tulane. Unacceptable.

13) Memphis - still sucks.

Does anybody still believe Temple, UCF, and San Diego State were bad football additions? UCF had a respectable 35,000 fans at their game yesterday and is located in a recruiting playground, Adazzio is determined to make Temple Boise East, and San Diego ST has a ton of potential if for no other reason then it is paradise on earth.

4 New Big East teams have a shot at the top 15 this year and there has to be a few West Virginia fans waking up this morning thinking that if they stayed in the Big East this year they would have had a shot at the title game, they would have played UCONN yesterday instead of Texas Tech.
