UConn plays a masterful game and beats #1 Seed of the Portland 3 Regional So. Cal 80-73. They will now face #1 Seed Iowa who outlasted #3 Seed LSU 94-87. Iowa is 33-4 with a BIG-10 record of 15-3. In the BIG-10 Tournament they beat Penn State 95-62 in the quarter finals, Michigan 95-68 in the semi-finals. Then they beat Nebraska in overtime 94-89 in the championship game. Their best win was #6 Massey rated LSU in the Albany Regional 2 Finals 94-87 While their worst loss was at Nebraska 79-82, Massey rated #33. They are rated by Massey #2, with an SOS of #1, an offense rated 1st and defense rated 109th. They averaged in Conference play 93.9 points, while allowing 75.9 points. Average 41.6 rebounds, 21.9 assists, 7.4 steals, 3.3 blocks and 13.7 turnovers a game. Shooting 50.3%, 78.2% in free throw shooting and only 38.2% in 3pt shooting accuracy.

- All predictions and any changes must be submitted by 8:45 PM Eastern. Any submitted after the cut-off will not be accepted.
- The winner must be named, either UConn/Huskies or Iowa/Hawkeyes. No predictions like "85-55 the good guys", will be accepted if there isn't a winner stated.
- If prior to the closing of the Prognosticator’s Predictions, you wish to change your prognostication you must submit a new prediction by stating that you wish to change your previous prediction and provide the post number of the original post. If the request for change is submitted prior to the closing of accepted predictions, you will receive a "like" letting you know that it was accepted and changed.
- If someone believes that they have been missed, or someone notices that another fellow Prognosticator has been by the gamekeeper, then it must be brought to the gamekeeper's attention within 24 hours of the posting of the winner(s) game thread.
- Currently the point spread is UConn +2.5 pts, so the game should be close but I believe that UConn wins in the end, getting win #34 for the season. UConn 80 – Iowa 72.
