This Sunday is the biggest match of the season up to this point, come on Reds
Either way someone is dropping points. (and hopefully not us)

I'd be very happy with a Liverpool/Man City draw. If not, then I'd like to see Man City win. We still have to play City, so that will be our chance to take points off them. At least we'd hold our on destiny.

I don't see any way Liverpool lose, draw at worst. They protect their home pitch better than anyone other than the last season blip against Leeds during a down season

True, but they have been missing quite a few players. Not sure who will be back for this weekend (looks like Salah might be). They also have the dreaded Thur Europa game (away - Prague). While City are home Wed.

Like I said, a draw would be great. Both teams drop 2 points.

What a match. Reds should've won it. Diaz plenty of chances and didn't convert. Definite penalty shout at the end.

Should’ve been a penalty, but Diaz needed to finish man. So many chances. He played incredible otherwise though, had Walker and Rodri on strings.

Very impressed with us today, 5/6 starters out and were the better team.

The perfect outcome. Leaves us top of the table....for now.

Like today, along with Liverpool.
Now we watch City run the table. They just don't drop points at this point in the season.

Since the beginning of 2024 we're 10-2-1 (32 out of 39 points) and still not good enough to overtake City.

Tell me about it. I'm too depressed to look it up but what did City win a few years ago to close out the season? 14 in a row, was it?

Looks like it will come down to the very end.

Arsenal - 80 pts - +57 GD (3 games left) (Bournemouth, Man U, Everton)
Man City - 79 pts - +50 GD (4 games left) (Wolverhampton, Fulham, Tottenham, West Ham)
Liverpool - 75 pts - +41 GD (3 games left) (Tottenham, Aston Villa, Wolverhampton)

Can Tottenham help Arsenal win the league??? Will Arsenal fans cheer for Spurs???

4th place, last CL slot

Aston Villa - 67 pts - +21 GD (3 games left) (Brighton&Hove, Liverpool, Crystal Palace) (still in Europa Conference also)
Tottenham - 60 pts - +15 GD (5 games left) (Chelsea, Liverpool, Burnley, Man City, Sheffield)

Well we're down to the last week.

Relegation all but decided. Burnley and Sheffield decided. Luton would have to win and Nottingham Forest lose and make up a 12 goal differential. Sooo, 99.95% going down.
Nottingham to play Burnley
Luton Town to play Fulham.

For the Title, Arsenal need Man City to drop points. (and possibly maintain a +3 goal differential)

Man City has to play Tottenham and then West Ham. If they win both, they win by 2 points. If they lose either game and Arsenal win, Arsenal win. If Man City draws either game, and Arsenal win, then it comes down to goal diff.

Liverpool is 3rd no matter what.

4th spot, last CL spot is down to Aston Villa (67 pts) and Tottenham (63 pts). Villa plays Liverpool and Crystal Palace. Tottenham play Man City and Sheffield. Tottenham need to win and have Liverpool beat Villa to have a chance on the last day.

For Europa League, probably Tottenham or Villa. But Chelsea and Newcastle have a chance if Tottenham drops both games.

Chelsea plays Brighton & Hove and Bournemouth.
Newcastle plays Man U and Brighton & Hove.

That's just the Table though. I believe the winner of FA Cup gets into Europa League. If Man U wins they're in. If Man City wins then 6th spot gets in. (Chelsea or Newcastle probably). If Man U wins then 6th spot is in Conference League.

Liverpool/Aston Villa play Monday
Tottenham/Man City play Tuesday
Man U/Newcastle play Wed
Chelsea/Brighton & Hove play Wed

Final games are Sunday at 11:00 EST
