Well fellow UCONN fans that was a great game for the team and something that was expected by me against Michigan State. I expected Ryan Boatright and Napier to play well, and they did, but I have to give credit to one guy that I have criticizerd the most last year: DeAndre Daniels.
He was the key to the game yesterday because he did a little bit of everything yesterday from outside and in the post. He got key rebounds when we needed them and looks like a significantly improved player like we would have liked to see from him last year.
P.S. Omar Calhoun had a terrible first day, but he will improve as he has all the physical tools to do so. He and Phil Nolan will have to step up if this UCONN team want to compete for a title next year and for pride this year.
