On paper Dayton might be the 2nd best team, right? New Mexico lost a lot. West Virginia was set to have a nice team but then lost some key guys.

Very weak field but we should rack up some top 100 wins that will help RPI. I think the second best team is WVU. Typical Huggs team with one PG and 12 power forwards..

We have never seen our team play a game yet. G-d forbid we lose a game down there and not make it to the championship game- this board will implode.

WE ARE DOOMED!!!

Man, I was really hoping for a rematch with George Mason. My wife and son are Mason graduates. I gotta get away from their constant reminders of the previous fiasco.

You know 3 months really isn't that bad. That's all it takes for Cuse to go from "#1" to disappointing exit.

So Dayton elite 8 last year. What kind of team do they have for this season?

Has George Mason won any tournament games since then?

Jeff Goodman listed them as No. 33 in his "early" preseason top 50 (dated in May). UConn was listed as No. 20. Here's the write-up:

33. Dayton Flyers

Gone: Devin Oliver, Matt Kavanaugh, Vee Sanford

Returning: Dyshawn Pierre, Khari Price, Jordan Sibert, Devon Scott, Jalen Robinson, Scoochie Smith, Kendall Pollard

Coming in: G Darrell Davis, C Steve McElvene, Detwon Rogers

Key Riser: Dyshawn Pierre -- He had a solid season, averaging 11.2 points per game as a sophomore. However, with Oliver gone, he'll need to step up and become more consistent and dominant.

Analysis: Archie Miller and the Flyers had the unexpected Elite Eight run and will lose leading scorer Oliver and starter Kavanaugh, but Dayton still brings back plenty. Sibert, Pierre and Price were all starters and the Flyers will add a long and talented freshman from Michigan in Davis.
