My Turn. I often see, or even use, words that are a little strange. Let me cite a few:
In an earlier thread I noted that the antonym for religious is, strangely, sacrilegious.
There is no "h' in caricature. (Not related to "character"?)
A governor seeking re-election enters a gubernatorial contest.
Why is there no "o" in expatriate?
And why is there no "o" in camaraderie? (Not related to "comrades"?)
