November? Whooo, not in central Florida, doing its version of global warming.
You get to warm up too, while you refrain from research and repeating questions.

1..I saved Antonio's skin...Literally!

2..I got warm applause at a tennis match, based on police brutality.

3..I was the Prez who dedicated the Statue of Liberty.

4..I'm a fog-fish whose dad took his name as a take-off on Fats Domino.

5..I married the guy who is credited with inventing the electric guitar.

6..I come from a community where children are above average and girls are strong.

7..I gave you the hand that you can't see, but it equalizes the factors of production.

8..I'm a female European director whose films (like "Romance") are probably
the most explicit of all directors of serious films.

9..Hal turned his back on our friendship, when he became king.

10..In 1921 I was publicized as a Shiek.

11..I was the Roman Senate's Chickpea.

12..Votaire criticized my view that animals were little more than machines.

13..I am the prime minister of Cambodia these 30 years.

I must compliment the Testmeister for the Mistie Bass clue (I also didn't know about her father's name).

On 8 - I would have thought of Lena Wertmuller (sp), but I suspect Herr Wire Chief want's someone more recent.

1..After UcM's Whoops-moment, he finds the lady from THE MERCHANT OF VENICE.

2..Ine, VAUC & zorro cite Mr. Blake, innocent victim of a runaway cop.

3..VAUC correctly picks Grover, no, no, not the green guy on Sesame Street.

4..Knight shows he's not too old to learn, meanwhile it is zorro & VAUC who get all Mistie about this question with a Twist.

5..Crown & zorro know The World Is Waiting for the sunrise...and their answer. They deliver Mary Ford.

6..Rbny & zorro cite the man from Lake Woebegone.

7..Economist Adam Smith of Invisible Hand Theory, as leaky as trying to hold water with your fingers. Zorro knows.

8..I have no problem with un-recencyness, but those who cite Lina (Swept Away) need to get out more.
Now, as your leader, I must promote a high-minded morality, so I cannot join VAUC in his glee for
Catherine's wares, but he does answer the question.

9..Rbny, zorro & UcM cite the rotund & ribald Falstaff, who would be an inappr0priate consort for a monarch.

10..That silent movie heartthrob Rudolph Valentino, but I doubt zorro & rbny saw the initial screening.

11..Chickpea in Latin translates as Cicero.

12..Rene Descartes was the heartless one. He thought; he was; but didn't know dork about animals.

13..VAUC put his knowledge in one Pot. Hun Sen is the long-standing ruler.

Yet another Dick Clark non original. The man made a living piggybacking trends; Never had an original idea in his life.
