OT: Seasons Greetings

Tying down the final details for tonight's festivities. Finished putting up the Poinsettia tree this morning. Prepped my materials for the message for the children's service. Checked the lights for the candlelight service and the service order the youth are helping with this evening.

Pausing to wish a super day after Festivus greeting to all and a blessing to those for whom tonight's stories are special. And good will to all our Boneyarders.

Semper we have a harp and choir prelude concert tonight.

We will be at the 7PM service at our church - with my 94 year old Mom in tow. Probably her first service in a year, as it is a chore for her to get ready and she simply can't see or hear well. She's not home bound, really, but her only "regular" outing is for a weekly hair setting.

Apparently unlike the US armed services, here we can say Merry Christmas without fear of censure or rebuke. So a big Merry Christmas to all on the Boneyard who celebrate it.

I am never ceased to be amazed by the atmosphere which exudes each year in the vicinity of the Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center...

Without a doubt it generates "goodwill towards all men"...
