OT: NCAA Round One. Gladdest/Saddest.

The toughest day was experienced by the poor Miami Hurricanes. Bad enough they had to travel 2,577 miles just to play South Dakota State. Next, it got worse when they (favored as a #5 seed) were upset by the #12 seed Jackrabbits. Things hit rock bottom when they had to endure a loooong 2,500+ trip back home.

It was a highlight day for Anriel Howard, Texas AM forward, who corralled 27 rebounds! She is only 5'11" -- thus evoking memories of Dennis Rodman.

Speaking of players that are 5'11'. There's a 5'11' guard at Florida State Shakayla Thomas that can dunk. These young ladies have got some serious hops, and some large hands (to palm the ball). If she dunks in a game, it will bring the house down, and it will be all over sports center.
