OT: Everyone survive

We have been without power for almost 4 hours now & are just lucky none of the big wooden things around our house came down too.
Got to use my generator for the first time for real since installing it 3-1/2 years ago.

This tree is right across RT42 here in Cheshire

Whew! Pretty much escaped here in E Lyme. Barely any rain, a couple of rumbles and little wind. Lucky this time.
