They also have experts picks that go about 10 deep. We'll just use two categories:

Overall
Arethusa al tavolo (Bantam) - first (others in no order)
Union League (New Haven)
Max Downtown (Hartford)
Winvian (Morris)
Olio (Stamford)
South End (New Canaan)
Bailey's Backyard (Ridgefield)
LeFarm (Westport)
Bernard's & Sara's Wine Bar (Ridgefield)
Thomas Henkelmann (Greenwich)
West Street Grill (Litchfield)

Craft Beer Haven
Walrus + Carpenter (Bridgeport) - first
Local (South Norwalk)
Little Pub (Ridgefield)
Eli Cannon's (Middletown)
Cask Republic (Stamford)
The Engine Room (Mystic)
Coalhouse Pizza (Stamford)
The Ginger Man (Norwalk)
Willimantic Brewing Co
Craft 260 (Fairfield)
MiKro (Hamden)

I figure that settles that - since all of these must be spot on accurate, if they put it in print.

I think Max must be paying a lot of people to vote (not that I'm knocking their food, but they're at the top of the list in far too many categories)

I totally agree. Max is totally overrated and I have had some very poor meals there this year. There is also no way that Carmen Anthony has better Prime Rib then the Chowder Pot in Branford.
