Was at the game, very good win. Watched Fischer from the backstop. He has very good control, fastball doesn't have a lot of movement but he keeps it down. Mazelli is the real deal.It cost me $50.00 to see the game with a parking ticket but it was worth the trip to Storrs. I won't make that mistake again.

Mazzilli is a good player and probably will leave after the draft but I still think he could use another year. His defense has been shady at times this year and some of his decisions keep you scrathing your head like how do you get picked off first with a runner on second.

Well another game where Marzi pitches a gem and gets no run support. Poor guy will be 2-8 but ERA in the mid 2'S. Scoring continues to go down because of lack of fundamentals (3 more errors - 2 on Mazzilli), execution, patience (always swinging at the first pitch) then they seem to take 3rd strikes all the time, doesn't make sense.

Outside of the outcome... good time @ New Britain on Friday night. Free parking, $5 ticket, sit where you want, $6/$6.25 beers and a quality ball park. Only snag was concessions stands before 4th inning - only one open w/ long lines. I'd do it again in a minute!

Great time. Went with a friend of mine who played on the 1957 UCONN team that went to the College World Series.
