This is huge for us... don't know much about the guy, but coming from LSU... we aren't playing around...

ERRRRRRR! After further review... I just Googled him... Definitely a decent hire, but not as huge as I thought... He's young and he's seen a lot after being around LSU football.. That's definitely helpful for us...

Next up: a DC....

Looks like Bogan was at North Greenville the same time Antonio Wilcox was on the staff there.

Do we really need this in addition to a GM? I understand football support staffs are huge these days, but isn't that essentially the same position?

GM recruiting vs DPP schooling. DPP was probably more involved in recruiting previously, but with advent of GM position in college that's changing. Then again, like in many jobs, titles mean nothing.

Saban used this approach at Bama way before the demands of NIL. It worked out pretty good so yes, staff is very important.

For all we know his jump to the NFL could have been assisted by Mora (who has a ton of connections). This could help us continue to land quality assistants/administrative staff going forward.

Was told by a former member of the football staff that he was a rising star and would more than likely be a 'one and done" at UConn before an NFL team snatched him up.

Definitely a big loss, but he made a significant impact in the short period of time he was here.
