New Book re UNC academics

I know this subject has been discussed several times here. There is a new book reviewed by the WSJournal titled "Cheated" by Jay Smith and Mary Willingham (the reading specialist who turned UNC in).
I haven't seen anything re NCAA sanctions since the fall. What a surprise....

There is an NCAA investigation going on supposedly and of course the suit by the former students saying they were denied an education because of the no-show classes will go to trial at some point, though what the chance for success there is hard to say. Unfortunately, there is also the possibility that the statute of limitations has run out for any major sanctions by the NCAA. We'll see, or not.
