A new extended video update of the new athletic development.

Have to figure with all this talk about the maintenance free baseball field that there will be a lot less distracting noises during the postgame interviews between Coach Penders and Chris Jones.

I figured he was. I guess if he's OK with the plan, who am I to complain? I won't be playing on it. I did donate to baseball and soccer, so I want to get my money's worth of bitchin'!

I was up at UConn last night for the women's basketball game. While I wasn't in the area of the baseball stadium, the area where we walked did not have snow cover. There were some snow piles, but not the consistent snow cover that is shown in the picture.

JO Christian was, 340 feet (Left field), 370 feet (LCF), 405 feet (Center field), 370 feet (RCF), 340 feet (Right field).

Here's a illustration of Elliot Park and it has numbers on the fence. But it seems very unofficial. 330, 380, 400, 367 and 330.

Great Park for lefties. Short RCF, I think 367 is the same as Wrigley field in Chicago.

I'll say this for the fieldturf- its nice having the bright green given how blah everything else looks outside this time of year.
