NC State game

Is there a chance the Rent is sold out for Wolfpack or any other game this year? Not sure unless the record is impressive.

My family will be doing its part. My nephew just graduated from N.C. State. Sister. Brother-in-law & their family making the trek from N.C. for theor first game at the Rent. In addition, other family members have purchased single game tix for that date.

I hope so. My dad is an NC State alum and he'll be up... want UConn to put a hurtin on em!

In general though... seems like season tix are down, so probably will be a bit of a struggle to sell out.

No, there is no chance. The end is near, football in the NE is dead, and we will be playing on PBS by 2013.

We didn't sell out for North Carolina so I'm assuming we won't for this game will either.

with the record from last year, we are going to need to have a big season before we sell OOC games early. Our casual fans are getting more knowledgable, but not enough will know about NC State to know its a game worth seeing.

do they travel well? will they bring fans?

NC ST. is more a FB school than BB school. Their stadium capacity is 57.6k and they ave. about 56k. I would expect a fairly large turn out from ST. Overall they do travel well.

I'm pretty sure there will b more Uconn fans going to Maryland than NC State fans coming to CT.

Im sure if Chuck Amato coached UConn they would be more interested in traveling. They do play TN in Atlanta 8 days before so I don't expect a huge turnout from them.

I agree. There r only so many games that fans can go on the road for, and I don't see Uconn being a must see for State fans.

In all my years at the Rent its been just about full. Never looks empty. a few thousand missing here and there isn't much. Besides with 70% of the seats bleachers people spread, out you never really notice.
