That is one helluva young lady. Class and greatness- on the court and off. Maya is simply incomparable.

Yep, UConn has beaten ND in what is for all intents and purposes three consecutive NC games (as the 2013 national semifinal was, by default the NC game). Definitely helped cleanse a lot of disappointment. Seeing Maya Moore in particular leave Indy empty-handed was devastating. Conversely, I'm happy that Bria, Stef, Kelly, and KML, have all gotten to finish their college careers as national champions. But Maya brought the program all the way back to its historic peak, winning consecutive NCs en route to a record 90 games in a row. Not too shabby.
I'm glad she doesn't forget where she came from, especially since no one will ever forget her.
