LSU at tournament in Mexico

Went on to NCAA scores to see WBB results and noted that the LSU game was cancelld due to "facility conflicts". Seems strange that a tournament is scheduled and the facilities not available for games beyond round 1? Anyone with more info?

Not much. The convention center where it was being played was specifically not available past the 1st day. Communication issue?? Financial issue with the folks running the tournament??? I did see on UTEP's site that they were enjoying the time in the sun as a "bonding experience".

A real shame for the 4 teams involved to play only one of three games.

Well it saved LSU from losing two more games this week

Apparently there was a "financial misunderstanding" between the promoter and
the local folks.

I assume the schools all lost money, and they are presumably considering their legal options.
