OK, only because Westbrook was ejected with his second tech with 3 minutes left. But OKC was down 10 at the time to the Wiz, and came back to force OT with Lamb hitting a huge 3 in there to cut lead from 6 to 3.

Heading to OT now.

damn it, I had switched back over to football because Lamb was getting lit up by Beal(as was everyone else on the Thunder) and had been subbed out with about 9 minutes left, figured his night was over.

They just trusted Lamb with a shot to seal the game for the Thunder, and it went in and out. Great look. Gotta play D now.

just missed a 3 that would've iced the game for them but the Thunder held on for the win

KD was the first to go up to Lamb after the shot to give him a high five and gave some encouraging words. They seem to have a lot of confidence in him... love it!

Nuts. In and out with chance for the dagger w 4 seconds left up 1. But Thunder win as Wall misses. Those were 8 high-pressure minutes Lamb got when they could have easily put Fisher out there (it was Jackson, Lamb, Sefolosha, Durant, Ibaka).

You have to like what presti got in the harden disaster, talent on a rookie scale. Most disagree with that sentiment, but Adams and lamb are some nice pieces and fill needs. exciting to see this thunder team grow

It was a horrible, horrible trade under any reasonable standard.

He had to pick either ibaka or harden. harden is a ball dominant guard, pretty redundant while already having Westbrook and Durant. You don't see the upside of going with a 22 y/o who lead the league blocks ? the thunders offense last year pre Westbrook injury was better than it ever was with harden. It's pretty clear harden is a horrid defender, so I don't see it as bad as you do. The only gripe is not including Perkins.

Well, they say they had to. Other than paying more money, they didn't actually have to.

Yeah this isn't the best shooting guard in the league.

Why pay more money when you can form a team that's just as good offensively (even better defensively ; they won fricken 60 games) without harden? After amnestying Perkins sure they could have signed the 4. But every other roster spot would be filled with a scrub. Well just have to wait for the rockets to implode .

Adams is already better than Perkins and looks like their C of the future. While paying Harden would've been for the best, Lamb looks like he can be at a minimum a 15ppg scorer by next season(he's avearaging 10ppg in less than 20 minutes), Lamb coupled with Adams is a pretty good haul for Harden. Adams has played very well, I wouldn't have expected this based on what I saw at Pitt.

It obviously was a bad trade in retrospect (although if Lamb turns out to be good, it will soften the blow). But people seem to forget that Harden did not look good in the playoffs before the trade. In fact, he looked downright shaky. Of course he turned into Superman as soon as he put on a Rockets jersey, but to say that everybody saw that coming is revisionist history.

Harden is also becoming somewhat of a cancer. He didn't like a play call late in the loss to the Lakers (with Rockets up 2) so he walked off to the side and didn't run the play, just standing there. Then when Lin had to force up a shot at the end of the shot clock, he walked over and bitched at him next dead ball.

As great a scorer as he is, he might be the worst defensive SG in the league, he's a complete non entity on that side of the floor.
