Bold move by ABC putting the Bobcats in their lone matchup of the day---Love it though.

Read somewhere it's Charlotte's first time on ABC since like 2001.

I felt bad for Kemba not having help these past couple years but now they have a nice young nucleus. Go Bobcats/Hornets!

Good start for the Bobcats. Not a great start for Kemba though: badly missed a couple of 3's, a few bad turnovers. He's been on the bench the last 6 minutes or so.

You should watch the NBA more.

Kemba starting to take over now. 8 points and counting in the 3rd quarter with 6:23 to go. Kemba looks fearless, and playing with that UConn mentality.

The refs are [predictably] giving Miami every single call. They aren't even trying to hide it at this point. There is no way the NBA is letting Charlotte win this game. It's sad, but that's the NBA's MO.

Bobcats just can't compete with upper tier teams with wing players this bad. The only way Henderson and MKG can be legit starters on playoff teams is if you're stacked at every other position and the Cats obviously aren't loaded like that. I like MKG's hustle and D but how he's been able to progress at each level of ball without someone overhauling his jumper is beyond me, that bs should've been completely retooled when he was a youngin.

Bobcats have the Blazers pick and the Pistons pick if its outside the top 8, they need to hopefully strike gold with someone that can create and/or knock down open jumpers.

Great, Kemba played so well! Got 20 points in his very 1st playoff appearance - had to because their main offensive weapon, Jefferson, got hurt very early. So proud of him. Go Kemba! Ur crossovers are pretty.

That team needs a wing player that can score...it looks like it's all kemba and Jefferson at times

DeAndre is better than MKG! TradeMKG. Bobcats, draft DeA up. He's cheaper at this time. Kemba talk to your execs. Hurry up.

as much as I love Ray would love to see the upset. If UCONN can win the national championship this year anything is possible!

Henderson was embarrassingly bad on defense...often not making any attempt to help on drives & acting like he already had 5 fouls. Not sure what the Bobcats like about him. Now, McNasty, for a Dookie, actually made some plays out there that helped his team.
Kemba is exciting when he is on and played well for most of the game.

Yeah, if not for the officiating Charlotte would wear Miami out, like they did in the regular season.

C'mon, man.

The Pistons owe Charlotte a first-round pick as a condition of the June 2012 trade that sent Ben Gordon to the Bobcats for Corey Maggette. The pick was protected through the lottery last season and is protected if it’s a top-eight pick this season.

The Bobcats don't have much, It's Big Al, Kemba and Neal is a good shot maker. MKG has no offensive game to speak of, Henderson stinks, McRoberts is a pretty good hustle player but not much more, Zeller was a wasted pick as was Biyombo, Chris Douglas-Roberts looks ridiculous. Hope they do something good with those picks and have an active offseason because you can certainly build around Big Al and Kemba.

Let's not forget that Zeller is 21 and Kidd-Gilchrist is 20. They both still have plenty of time to grow as players, as does Kemba. McRoberts has actually been very valuable for them as a pick and pop four and passer, but I agree that they're ultimately probably going to need an upgrade there. The Bobcats will probably look back at the 2012 lottery and be haunted by it forever. They have a nice young nucleus, but there is nobody on that roster who is ever going to become a star, and it seems pretty unlikely they'll ever be able to attract one through free agency.

Someone like Gary Harris would be a perfect fit for the Bobcats

It's ok, Miami has Ray Allen.
